Win A  Hitachi Jig Saw with Tool-less Blade Changing!

I can't imagine not owning a quality jig saw!  And this Hitachi CJ 110MV Jig Saw fills every one of my requirements. 

With 5.8 amps of cutting power, it's powerful enough to do anything a jig saw is meant to do... and probably a few things it wasn't!  Of course, using the correct blade for the job is critical for the best cutting results. 

I especially like the wide, solid cast aluminum base, which does not flex or bend.  I've owned a couple of jig saws with thin steel bases, and have found that they tend to distort over years of demanding work causing the saw to "rock" leading to less accurate cutting.

For me, the closer on this sale was the tool-less blade changing system.  If it takes more than 5 seconds to change the blade, you're doing something wrong.  (You'll probably take longer to find a new blade than to install it!)  Using a dull blade because of a misplaced blade removal tool is a thing of the past!

Of course, this saw also has standard features such as variable speed adjustment, three orbital cutting settings, an LED cutting light, powerful chip blower and an adjustable base for angle cuts. 

Be aware that this is a "barebones" model without a case or accessories, but it does come with a single 41 wood cutting blade.  Only T-shank blades will work with this saw, but they are available just about everywhere.  There are quite a few accessories available, such as a dust collection system, chip deflector and edge guides, so you can customize your saw to the type of work you do.

Oh... almost forgot.  I love the strange "camo-style" coloring of this saw.  It almost looks like a small, vicious animal waiting to pounce!  Thank goodness wood is its favorite food!
