Win a FaucetMATE Quick Connect Kit for Faucets
and a bonus $50 Home Depot Gift Card from FaucetMATE.com

Faucetmate Quick Connect for FaucetsOver the three decades I've been in the home repair trade, faucets have become much easier to install.  Manufacturers realized the huge market in do-it-yourself products and redesigned their faucets  to be more home-handyman friendly.  Most faucet connections are user-friendly and don't need extraordinary plumbing skills to do correctly.

But installation is still a literal pain in the back since, no matter which brand you choose, you'll need to spend too much back-breaking time underneath the sink making the final attachment of the sink to the sink or countertop.

Enter FaucetMATE, a dramatic improvement over standard mounting methods that can be reused over and over again!  With the FaucetMATE, you can make all attachments to the faucet above the countertop.  Here are the basics...

1) Attach the FaucetMATE adapters to both sides of the faucet, along with the water supply tubes.

2)  Drop the faucet into the mounting holes and position it where you want it.  (If you're concerned you might move it while tightening it down, use some easily-removable painter's tape to hold it in place.)

3) Look under the sink and find the tightening rod, which will be visible through the doors without crawling under the sink.  Simply push the tightening rod upwards to engage the threads and turn it clockwise to secure the locking mount.  VOILA, your faucet is firmly attached to the countertop!!  Make the final connections to the water supply and you are done, baby!!  Visit FaucetMATE.com for full instructions and more pictures!

We are giving away two (2) FaucetMATES, one to each of two lucky winners, plus a $50.00 Home Depot Gift Card to help defray part of the cost of your new faucet (or anything else HD has to offer, for that matter!)   GOOD LUCK!!
